Reporting to: Chief ExecutiveA significant proportion of the third sector exists to deliver health and social care services to our citizens and this post will lead on strategic engagement, policy development and representation with statutory partners on behalf of third sector interests in Fife. Health and social care is an area which is seeing a lot of pressure, increased investment and a need to transform services at this exciting time. New strategies are emerging, including around participation and engagement, and how services are commissioned is being actively reviewed. The postholder will play a key role in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to influence strategy and policy over the next few years.
Fife Voluntary Action (FVA) is the third sector interface for the Fife Council area. We are an independent charity that receives funding from key public sector agencies to ensure the third sector is robust, resilient and delivers high quality services for the people of Fife. This postholder will join the senior management team of a busy, learning organisation.
