The Woodward Charitable Trust - General Fund (Families and young people)
Created: 08/06/2022, Updated: 26/05/2023The Woodward Charitable Trust's General Fund is open to projects that help families and young people and that are aiming to improve the life chances of the beneficiaries. The funder prefesr projects that promote community cohesion and the development of skills that will change the outlook and outcomes for the users. Organisations that promote volunteering and involve both past and present users in their delivery are encouraged.
The funder is looking for organisations that aim to achieve a positive impact in at least one of the following areas:
The Trustees favour small-scale, locally-based initiatives and most grants are only for one year.
Who can apply
Registered charities, Charity Incorporated Organisations (CIOs) and Community Interest Companies (CICs). Maximum annual income: £200,000
When to apply
The next round will open on 05 June 2023. The deadline is 12 noon on 28 July 2023. Applications will be assessed in October 2023.
