    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

    Garfield Weston offers:

Regular Grants for applications below £100,000 reviewed on an ongoing basis by Trustees - no deadline.

Major Grants for applications of £100,000 or more are reviewed at one of the Foundation’s eight Board meetings a year and are carefully planned in advance to be fair to all applicants.

If you are considering applying for a major grant, please start by sending a one page summary to their Grants Officer, Ciara Molloy at [email protected]. Please outline what you are raising funds for, the total cost and fundraising target.

The Foundation tends not to support more than 10% of the total budget  and  if you are applying for £100,000 or more they typically expect the funded project and/or annual income to be in excess of £1 million.

The Trustees expect an organisation to have secured around half the funding required before applying to them.

Further guidelines regarding eligibility are available at the Garfield Weston website.
