News/Events Category: FVA NewsIt's nearly Volunteers' Week 2022 (01 - 07 June) and this year, we're asking how do you plan to say thank you to your volunteers?
Whether you're planning an activity/event for your volunteers or you plan to thank them on social media, we want to hear about it! E-mail your plans to [email protected] or tag us on Twitter/Facebook @FifeVolAction
If you're struggling to come up with a plan for the campaign, we recommend checking out this toolkit which provides plenty of ideas on how to thank your volunteers.
During the week, we have several activities planned to celebrate the volunteers that we support and those who volunteer with FVA - keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter pages for lots of content.
We're also hosting the first session of our Step Into Volunteering training during Volunteers' Week. This training is for anyone wishing to find out more about volunteering and to support you to take your first steps into a volunteering role.
It takes place over three sessions and you will receive a certificate on completion of the training. All sessions take place in person at our office in Glenrothes (Saltire Centre, Caledonia House, Pentland Park, Glenrothes KY6 2AL) from 13:00 - 15:00 on the following dates:
- Introduction to Volunteering and the Benefits of Volunteering - 01 June.
- Boundaries and Support - 08 June.
- Practical Elements of Volunteering - 15 June.
To ensure you have access to all information and to receive your certificate you need to book onto all three sessions.
