Kingdom Housing Association (KHA) provides housing and support throughout East Central Scotland. It has plans for a significant expansion of its housing stock over the next five years.

Working within the Housing Management Team, you will be responsible for the selection and allocation of properties in line with KHA's Allocation Policy. This includes assisting the Housing/Lead Officers to provide a comprehensive Housing Management Service and other Estate Management duties. This role involves competing deadlines, being confident in multiple IT systems, administration work and being accountable for your area of work. Teamwork is key to achieving KHA's objectives so you should be willing to work together to share experience and support.

You will have an SVQ 3 in Customer Service or equivalent qualification, you should have excellent administration and customer care skills and be able to work on your own initiative. You should have a minimum of two years experience within a customer focussed role with a good knowledge of social housing legislation and regulations, including the Housing Acts, GDPR. You must hold a full driving licence with the use of a car for work and complete a Disclosure Check prior to taking up an offer of employment.

To apply, please visit KHA's website. Applications may close before the deadline (01 June 2022), so please apply early to avoid disappointment KHA is committed to contributing towards the eradication of homelessness. As part of that, KHA particularly welcomes applications from people who are currently registered homeless or have been in the last 12 months. It will guarantee shortlisting to any applicant who meets that criteria and the essential criteria for the vacancy. If KHA offers you the role and you are homeless at that point, its team will also offer you a tenancy in one of its properties as part of the Naumann Initiative. If you wish your application to be considered under the scheme, please state this under "Supporting information" on your application form.
