Created: 10/05/2022Fife Council is working with public, private and third sector Fife-Based organisations to deliver The Scottish Government's additional investment in Fife to create jobs, training and upskilling opportunities for people of all ages. This will support economic recovery and reduce the negative impacts resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Council wants to engage with employers from the third sector to support its efforts to provide employment opportunities within its workforces for people in Fife by creating valuable, meaningful short term paid placements and in-work funding that may lead to more permanent paid employment either internal or external to the business. Organisations can access this funding by contacting [email protected] and requesting a Funding Application. Alternatively, you can ask for a call back to discuss how you can use the funding to suit your workforce development needs or to discuss funding for a potential candidate who fits the criteria. Don't worry if you don't get all the details, Fife Council staff will support and assist you.
The Employability Service can support employers to recruit and select suitable candidates and ensure wrap-around support is put in place to aid sustainment and progression in work.
