    Hours: 35 hours per week

Citizens Advice and Rights Fife (CARF) is an independent and innovative advice organisation providing holistic advice and support to local people. CARF's service continues to grow and expand, and it is now excited to be able to announce a new income maximisation vacancy working between the Carers Income Maximisation Project and Food Insecurity team.

The successful applicant will work across these two projects delivering person centred income maximisation advice and support including assessing welfare benefit entitlement, budgeting assistance, and information on banking services and affordable credit. The service will also actively refer both internally and externally where further issues are identified e.g. debt issues.

As this role is split across two projects the successful candidate will need to be well organised with good planning skills and a well-disciplined approach to work.

In addition, you will have a good standard of education, high-quality personal skills, and a desire to improve lives. Experience of working in an advice giving capacity and/or a knowledge or interest in the social security system would be advantageous but not essential.

Please download the application pack from CARF's website or for an informal discussion contact Audrey Cunningham on [email protected] or by phone 01592 765 425.

CARF is now committed to Equal Opportunities and applications are welcome from all communities.

The closing date for applications is 12:00 on Wednesday 01 June with interviews scheduled to take place on 13 and 14 June 2022.
