It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

The training is delivered over three sessions and is for anyone wishing to find out more about volunteering and to support you to take your first steps into a volunteering role.

We will introduce you to the world of volunteering and the variety of roles and opportunities that are available. We will help you prepare for starting your journey as a volunteer, including what to expect, the benefits of volunteering and deciding on how much time you wish to commit. The training will also include practical support, ranging from completing volunteer application forms, preparing to meet your chosen charity and the support provided whilst you are volunteering. You will receive a certificate on completion of the training.

All sessions take place from 13:00 - 15:00 on the following dates:

Stage 1: Introduction to Volunteering and the Benefits of Volunteering - Wednesday 01 June 2022

Stage 2: Boundaries and Support - Wednesday 08 June 2022

Stage 3: Practical Elements of Volunteering - Wednesday 15 June 2022

All sessions will take place in person at our office in Glenrothes (Caledonia House, Pentland Park, Saltire Centre, Glenrothes KY6 2AL). To ensure you have access to all information and to receive your certificate you need to book onto all three sessions.
