  • Paths for All - Walking for Health Fund

    Created: 04/05/2022

Paths for All's Walking for Health Fund is for projects to improve wellbeing and reduce ill-health in Scotland through walking programmes. The fund is open to members of the Scottish Health Walk Network and aims to:

    • increase the number of new walkers taking part in Health Walks in Scotland
    • increase the amount of physical activity undertaken by people in Scotland, especially those experiencing health inequality
    • improve wellbeing or reduce ill-health.

Projects can apply for the cost of initiatives that encourage people at any stage of life to walk more. The project might focus on a particular target group or range of groups, or on a specific geographical area.

Path for All welcomes new and innovative approaches as well as tested models of delivery but the project must include the delivery of at least one weekly Health Walk in the proposal.

    Who can apply

Only members of the Scottish Health Walk Network can apply.

    How to apply

Please contact your Paths for All Development Officer to discuss your idea and if appropriate, support you in the application process.

    When to apply
