Workforce Wellbeing Fund for Adult Social Work and Social Care

News/Events Category: Funding and FinanceThe Scottish Government has made £1 million available to support the wellbeing of staff working in Adult Social Work and Social Care.
The fund has already supported a number of wellbeing ideas across Scotland to help social work and social care staff including physical, team building and rest and relaxation activities.
Looking after staff wellbeing is extremely important and if you have an idea to support your team’s wellbeing and funding is needed then this could be an option. Teams can apply for a grant of up to either £5,000 for short term wellbeing initiatives or £10,000 for longer term, sustainable solutions – more details on what these mean can be found in the guidance notes.
Who can apply
Staff from public, private and voluntary sector organisations delivering adult social work and adult social care services, including Social Work students and Social Work Assistants, and; •
- who are employed by, and have the agreement and support of their employer organisation to apply; or
- membership organisations that directly support the wellbeing of adult social work and adult social care staff where proposals do not duplicate initiatives from staff or employers direct.
