  • COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy Toolkit Pakistani Community

    Created: 11/04/2022, Updated: 13/04/2022
    News/Events Category: General News

Research has found that certain ethnic groups, including those of a Pakistani ethnicity, are disproportionately impacted by the spread of COVID-19. Rates of hospitalisation with COVID-19 are around four times higher for Pakistani and mixed groups than for the White Scottish population. However, research has also found that there is a higher level of vaccine hesitancy in the Pakistani community than in the general population.

This toolkit has been created to help address some of the reasons for this hesitancy and encourage greater uptake of the vaccine. It contains key messages, links to static and video assets, and suggested social media copy to make it as simple as possible for you to share this information with your audiences.
