It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) invites Fifers to attend this initial workshop on health and wellbeing in the Leven catchment, part of the Leven Programme. For those of you who are not familiar with the project, it is a regeneration initiative for the River Leven and its environs that brings key government agencies, non-government organisations, private sector and local communities together to help deliver environmental improvements in and around the River Leven, while maximising the social and economic opportunities that these improvements can bring. You can read more here.

The programme has a number of key themes (eg Connectivity, Water, Biodiversity) and this workshop is the start-up for the H&W theme. The workshop will provide SEPA the opportunity to identify existing/ planned H&W projects and initiatives happening in the catchment, and to also identify and discuss opportunities and/or challenges for achieving additional benefits through a more joined up approach to all the great work already happening.

The health and wellbeing of the Leven’s communities is at the heart of the Leven Programme and the team hope that you are able to attend on the day and contribute to this initial discussion. If you can’t attend, the team wil send out an info pack with some pre-work ahead of the workshop that will give an additional opportunity to contribute, and we can also arrange a call to discuss further.

More information and MS Teams invite to follow. The event will take place from 13:30 - 16:00 on Wednesday 18 May 2022. Please e-mail [email protected] for further details.
