It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.Our Volunteer Managers' Forums are open to anyone who is involved in the recruitment and/or management/supervision of Fife-based volunteers, offering a service in Fife.
Volunteer Management can sometimes be a solitary role within an organisation, and our Forums are a great way to meet other people who are doing a similar role to you and reduce any sense of isolation you may have. There's also the chance to network (usually both formally and informally), catch up with changes happening in the field, discuss issues you may have and ask questions of the guest speaker and FVA staff who will be in attendance.
As Covid-19 rules begin to ease and more services and volunteer roles re-start and evolve, FVA are keen to support you and provide a platform to discuss issues that will or have come up as the situation changes locally and nationally. We are planning a speaker or two and with your contributions, will cover issues such as -
- Promoting/Updating existing opportunities
- Boundaries - is a refresher needed for volunteers
- Covid safety while volunteering
- Exploring different volunteering options (Hybrid, home-based, micro-volunteering)
- Risk assessment - What this means when adapting opportunities
