  • Adult Disability Payment Stakeholder Events

    From summer 2022, people in Scotland who receive Personal Independence Payment from the Department for Work and Pensions will have their award transferred to Social Security Scotland who will be holding a series of online events providing stakeholders with information about how this will take place.

    These events are for stakeholders who support people living with a disability, long-term health condition or terminal illness who are currently in receipt of Personal Independence Payment from the Department for Work and Pensions.

    The events will provide information on Social Security Scotland’s case transfer process including:

    •         an introduction to case transfer

    •         the timeline for transfers

    •         the process and the client journey

    •         how we will communicate with clients throughout this journey
