National Go Live – Adult Disability Payment (Scotland)
Created: 01/04/2022, Updated: 04/04/2022Adult Disability Payment (ADP) is the replacement for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) for customers living in Scotland.
People with ongoing awards of Personal Independence Payment and Disability Living Allowance do not need to make an application for Adult Disability Payment. Their awards will transfer to the Scottish social security system automatically from summer 2022.
It will be rolled out in phases:
ADP will then be launched nationally, across Scotland, from 29 August 2022.
From 29 August 2022 customers living in Scotland should no longer claim PIP but instead claim ADP.
