News/Events Category: General NewsCommunity Justice Scotland has recently published the following interesting reports:
- Community Justice Outcome Activity Annual Report, covering the period 2020 to 2021. This report assesses progress towards national community justice outcomes. New to this year’s report is a set of evidence and analysis summaries for each national outcome, a set of emerging cross-cutting themes and an array of practice examples and life stories to illustrate the variety of work underway in local areas.

Community Payback Order (CPO) Summary of Local Authority Annual Reports 2020/21. This report provides an overview of activity completed by people in local areas subject to a CPO and is based on local authority annual reports on the operation of CPOs within their area during the reporting year. As with previous reports, a focus is placed on unpaid work, other activity and the range of issues faced by local authority areas when delivering such an important service to individuals. Local providers report an increasingly complex range of needs and challenges faced by those given a CPO, but their commitment to supporting people to complete a CPO, and to meeting these needs, is to be commended.
