    Fife College is accepting applications for a Digital Skills Course starting on 20 April, held on Wednesday mornings and running for 9 weeks. 

    This course will allow you to define the skills required to safely benefit from, participate in and contribute to the digital world of today and the future.

    Participants will:

    • Learn how to manage and store information including identifying and solving technical problems
    • Engage with a number of operating systems and applications, including checking for OS and app updates. When searching for information online you
    • Learn how to apply filters when searching for information online relating to time or origin and image database searches.
    • Learn how to check the relevance and reliability of sources when searching online.
    • Become familiar with folder structures across devices, including file information like metadata and tagging, including file sizes

    FREE CHROMEBOOK
    Participants will be provided with a free digital device to help get started and if they successfully complete the course, not only will they be awarded a BCS Level 1 Essential Digital Skills for Work qualification – they will be able to keep the device!
