It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.We invite you once again to the next Fife Befriending Forum. The Forum is open to all new and existing services delivering befriending provision within Fife.
The Forum is an opportunity for members to share learning, develop positive working relationships, and receive support. We aim to create a space for you to share your challenges and concerns. These will be considered as part of our work of providing access to future training and learning opportunities for our Forum members.
The next meeting will be held at 14:00 - 15:30 on Wednesday 13 April via Zoom and we will be joined by NHS Fife colleagues who will update us on local plans for the upcoming Mental Health Week (09 – 13 May).The national campaign is run by the Mental Health Foundation and this year’s theme is “loneliness”. The week will explore the experience of loneliness, its effect on our mental health and how we can all play a part in reducing loneliness in our communities. As Befriending services largely focus on reducing loneliness, your expertise, knowledge and thoughts will be invaluable.
This is an open invitation for all befriending support services within Fife. If you were not able to attend the previous Forums, there is still plenty of time to become involved. For further information, please contact Michaela (Volunteer Development Officer) at [email protected]
