  • ENABLE Works - Employability Fund course

    Created: 25/02/2022

    ENABLE Works will be running Employability Fund Stage 2 and 3 courses in the second quarter of 2022 and are open for referrals for March.

    Participants will gain employability skills and an SQA personal development qualification. The course is two days per week and includes 1:1 support for those who need more support or specific advice.

    It's a great opportunity for people facing barriers and/or difficulties in accessing mainstream education or employment or for those young people who needs help in transition between school and further training or work.

    Over 12 weeks ENABLE Works will support learners to:

    • Create CVs;

    • practice mock interviews;

    • gain an understanding of the world of work;

    • learn about personal presentation;

    • learn how to communicate effectively;

    • achieve a PDA level 3 or 4 qualification.

    During the course participants will also be supported to look for employment opportunities within different sectors available at the current job market.  Also, for younger participants there is an opportunity to earn a £55 per week training allowance.
