  • Adult Disability Payment launched in select local authorities from 21 March 2022

    Social Security Scotland has announced that the new Adult Disability Payment will open for applications in three pilot areas from 21 March 2022.
    Applications will open for working age disabled people, those with a long-term health condition and people who have a terminal illness living in Dundee City, Perth and Kinross and the Western Isles council areas.
    The Social Security Scotland National Engagement Team have been delivering a series of events to prepare our stakeholders in Dundee City, Perth and Kinross and The Western Isles and details of the last in this series of events for those who will support clients in these pilot areas are on the Social Security Scotland website. If you would like to attend, please register by 25 February 2022.
