  • Scottish Government Assisted Communication Team and Partners AAC User Engagement Group Invite

    Created: 23/02/2022, Updated: 24/02/2022
    News/Events Category: General News

In March 2018, a new law was introduced in Scotland to provide communication equipment and support in using that equipment. This means every person in Scotland who has been assessed by a Speech and Language Therapist and identified as requiring an AAC device will be issued with the equipment and support required to use it.

The Scottish Government invites AAC users, their carer, and their families from across Scotland to share their lived experience and help identify how the introduction of this law is making a difference.

See the poster for more details.
