OnFife - Fife's leading cultural organisation - seeks to look at how it can take the Fife Art Exhibition forward post-Covid in a way that is meaningful to those who live in the Kingdom. It is running a consultation to engage with communities across Fife to learn what they would like and need the annual Fife Art Exhibition to be.

Originally instigated by Fife Council, the annual exhibition has been running for over 35 years as a way of celebrating and acknowledging amateur artists across the region. There's been a decline in participation and, in 2020 due to Covid restrictions, the exhibition had to be virtual followed by a pause in 2021 to reflect and develop a plan for the future. The consultation process will begin by surveying as many as possible with key groups including young people and those who don't see themselves as creative or perhaps are culturally active but, to date, have not engaged with Fife Art.

The focus of the survey is to explore the idea of making and creating as a means to tell our own stories, as a way of validating our experiences, of being heard and connecting with others.

It takes no longer than 10 minutes to complete and can be accessed here.
