    Hours: 18 hours per week

    Location: St Luke's Scottish Episcopal Church, Auchmuty, Glenrothes

    Contract: This is a fixed-term post funded initially to December 2023

    St Luke's Scottish Episcopal Church, Auchmuty, Glenrothes has a perfect opportunity for a part-time Community Cook to join its Peace 'n' Jam team, a community project funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. The group is looking for an energised and creative individual with a passion for and experience of food and cooking who can work as part of a small but dynamic team, is professional, community-centered, and who recognises the social value of food. The role includes the running of the production/community kitchen ensuring food safety systems, stock control, equipment, kitchen use and kitchen hire are maintained to a high standard. You will also support the running of the community larder/pantry & community fridge/freezer, which helps the community access nutritious food, save money and reduce waste.
