Free Online Employability Modules from University of Strathclyde in February
Created: 27/01/2022The Centre for Lifelong Learning at the University of Strathclyde is running three new online employability modules in February.
These new courses have been developed to support adults in Scotland who may be looking to re-enter the workforce, enhance their skills set, are facing redundancy or are considering a career change and are keen to develop transferable skills for work. Two are aimed at those in mid-late career – an often overlooked sector of the workforce.
Classes are taught live and online via Zoom at designated times, led by expert tutors and will give participants the chance to interact with other like-minded individuals. Each course is worth 10 credits equivalent to SCQF Level 7. Completion of all three courses would result in a 30 credit Open Studies Certificate.
All three courses are fully funded by the Scottish Funding Council, therefore are free for participants to join and can be taken as stand-alone modules or as a group. The only eligibility criteria is that applicants must be resident in Scotland.
To find out more detail about each course or to sign-up please visit: Transferable Skills for Work | University of Strathclyde or e-mail Gemma Gilliland at [email protected].
