Burntisland Community Development Trust (BCDT) looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with relevant skills and experience to work with the Board and wider the community to review and update Burntisland’s Community Action Plan and to help build the capacity of the Trust to facilitate and support its implementation.

BCDT was formed out of Burntisland’s first Community Action Plan. It works on behalf of the community to take forward the elements of the CAP that focus on community development and urban and rural regeneration. The organisation is now at a stage of needing to work in partnership with Burntisland Community Council to review the Community Action Plan and update as required with new goals and activities as identified by the community. Funding has been secured from the Strengthening Communities Programme to employ staff to help take this forward.

This is an exciting opportunity to bring the skills, knowledge and experience you have gained from working in a community setting, supporting volunteers, engaging with local groups and other stakeholders and taking forward the development and delivery of local community-led plans.
