  • Greener Kirkcaldy - Food Works! Training and Employability - course now relaunched

    Created: 20/01/2022, Updated: 27/01/2022

After a two-year break, Greener Kirkcaldy is running Food Works! Training and Employability programme cooking skills course once again, from 01 February 2022. The course will run every Tuesday in Greener Kirkcaldy's community training kitchen at East Fergus Place from 10:00am to 2:00pm for ten weeks and is aimed at people who would like to work in catering or hospitality.  This could be someone who is wanting to change career, get back into work after unemployment, has left school recently or is interested in going to College to study full-time. Participants will cook with Grener Kirkcaldy's community chef and receive support from BRAG Enterprises as well as gain REHIS qualifications. Most of the skills gained in this course could be transferable to any job or further education as well as helping with an important life skill!

The class is limited to 8 participants so that everyone has a cooking station to themselves and covid guidelines wil be followed at all times in the classroom.
