The Lived Experience Team is an established team of active volunteers who aim to improve service design and delivery across Fife with a specific focus on mental health and employability. LET volunteers have lived experience of mental health challenges, trauma and/or unemployment made worse by a range of barriers or life experiences. They work closely and strategically with partners locally and nationally, within the public and third sectors as well as academia. To find out more visit the website Lived Experience Team.

The role of LET Coordinator is an exciting one, being engaged in supporting and expanding the work of the LET volunteers during a significant time of change in both the mental health and employability sectors in Fife. The successful candidate will have personal experience of mental health challenges as well as a strong commitment to improving services through co-production approaches. They will need to be able to work independently, as well as within a team and with strategic partners across Fife. Excellent communication skills are a must.

Whilst the work is based in Fife, from our offices, we can offer significant flexibility around homeworking.

Fife Voluntary Action (FVA) is the third sector interface for the Fife Council area. We are an independent charity that receives funding from key public sector agencies to ensure the third sector is robust, resilient, and delivers high-quality services for the people of Fife.
