    News/Events Category: Job Vacancies

    Post: Part-time Cleaner/Janitor

Salary: £9.00 - £9.20 (to be reviewed in March 2022)

    Location: St Andrews

Cosmos Community Centre is looking to recruit a part-time Cleaner/Janitor to join its team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the staff team. The hours available are generally late afternoons into evenings with occasional weekends - as well as the opportunity to increase hours to assist with holidays, sickness and busy periods. In addition to general cleaning duties, such as cleaning, mopping, hoovering, buffing, it is essential that various rooms are set for Centre users. This involves moving and setting tables and chairs for events, meetings, parties and social gatherings. Due to the nature of the work carried out in the Centre, all staff undertake vetting procedures. This is a very rewarding position which would suit a cheerful and helpful person, engaging with the public to ensure their facilities are as requested.
