The Scottish Government - Business Ventilation Fund
Created: 14/12/2021The Scottish Government’s Business Ventilation Fund will help businesses improve ventilation and air quality on their premises to help reduce the risk of coronavirus transmission. Support will initially target high-risk settings where people come into close contact, such as restaurants, bars, and gyms.
Businesses can claim to recover the costs of carrying out work to improve ventilation and air quality. This could include:
Costs will be reimbursed to eligible businesses once the application process is complete and verified receipts for work have been submitted and approved.
Who can apply?
To be eligible you must be: a small or medium-sized enterprise; be in an eligible sector (see guidance on website for full list); have physical premises; and pay non-domestic rates. Provided they meet all other eligibility criteria, businesses which are Limited Companies (including social enterprises), Sole Traders, Trusts, Partnerships, Community Interest Companies or Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisations, may apply for funding.
How to apply?
To apply for funding, businesses must complete the online self-assessment form which is available on the FindBusiess Support website.
When to apply?
Applications will close on 31 March 2022 or when funds are exhausted, whichever occurs first.
