The Lived Experience Team achieve gold at the Fife Business Diversity Awards 2021

News/Events Category: FVA NewsA massive congratulations to our Lived Experience Team (LET) for achieving the gold award for the Innovation category at the Fife Business Diversity Awards 2021!
The Awards demonstrate the accomplishments of individuals and businesses who have triumphed in the world of employment, despite facing multiple barriers and challenges – including Covid-19 and gave recognition to businesses who create equal opportunities for all in the workplace.
The LET is an inclusive group of volunteers who have experienced mental health challenges (personally or as a family member, a friend, or a colleague), trauma and/or unemployment made worse by a range of barriers or life experiences.
Its volunteers have a clear and exciting goal to improve service design and delivery across Fife, with a particular focus on contributing to the growth and improvement of health and social care, employability services, and workplace policies and practices around mental health and wellbeing.
