Round 2 of the Fife Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund is now open for applications
Created: 06/12/2021Community groups and organisations can apply to access funding to reconnect communities and support adults' (16+) mental health and wellbeing.
This is the first year of a two-year Fund to support mental health and wellbeing in communities across Scotland. The monies are part of the Scottish Government’s new Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund.
Fife Voluntary Action (FVA) is managing this Fund in partnership with Fife Council and Fife Health and Social Care Partnership and is responsible for distributing just over £1m across Fife in year one.
Visit www.fva.org/mhgrant to apply and for more information.
We've had a great response to Round 1, and we are processing a lot of applications. There is still a lot of money left to allocate in Round 2.
We are delighted to be on track to ensure that all of the funds will be invested in local third sector organisations to develop or grow projects or activities that will benefit the mental health and wellbeing of Fifers.
We're now ready to accept applications for round two: www.fva.org/mhgrant
We are not yet in a position to announce the timelines and conditions for Year 2 funding, but will do so just as soon as we can. Funding in Year 2 is not dependent on being awarded a grant in Year 1.
Important: Our staff team will be taking some time off over the festive period and our offices will be closing, but we will continue to provide support to applicants wherever possible. E-mails to [email protected] and requests for help submitted through the website will be checked regularly and dealt with. Offices reopen on 05 January 2022, but you do not need to wait until then to seek support.
Applications can be made by completing the online form at www.fva.org/mhgrant
If you have communication support needs and would like support with your application, please e-mail [email protected] or call 0800 389 6046 and a member of our team will be in touch shortly to arrange this support.
Please remember to check out the latest information, guidance, and frequently asked questions that are available at www.fva.org/mhgrant
