Hours: 25 hrs p/w - Part Time 30hrs p/w – Part Time
Salary: £23,674 - £24,406 per annum, pro rata
Contract: Please note one post is maternity cover - Funded by Big Lottery
Due to receiving a substantial funding package, an exciting opportunity has arisen for two Young Adult Carer Workers to join Fife Young Carers' (FYC) dedicated team, working with children and young people who have caring responsibilities in Fife.
FYC is looking for creative and energetic individuals, with experience of working with vulnerable children and young people in a variety of settings. The successful candidates will have great communication and organisational skills and be able to work sensitively with children and young people of all ages. The post holders will be responsible for the assessment and review of the support needs of children and young people, and ongoing support including the provision of groups and one-to-one support in Fife. Own transport is essential. Hours are worked flexibly but you should expect to work some evenings and weekends on a regular basis.
