    The ScotSID report highlights how the characteristics of individuals who have died by suicide during the COVID-19 pandemic differ from the characteristics of individuals how died by suicide before the pandemic.  

    The information provided within the report relates to the national picture to support epidemiology, policy-making and suicide prevention.  It provides more detailed information in relation to socio-economic status, marital status, employment status and contact with services prior to suicide.
