FVA coordinated a significant donations scheme in autumn 2021 to collect much-needed items for the families that arrived from Afghanistan. We received more than 20,000 bags of donations – a fantastically generous effort from the people of Fife!
Could your clients benefit?
We have a significant surplus of great quality clothing, toys, books and new toiletries that we’re keen to make sure goes to good use. If your charity supports clients who would benefit then please do get in touch with us – we’ll arrange an appointment for you to come and browse through what we have and take what you need (there are some limits in place, to ensure we retain enough for anticipated Afghan requirements and to ensure a range of charities get to benefit). You can come and take a range of things in different sizes to suit your clients, we don’t expect you to come for each individual client one-at-a-time!
Important: you must make an appointment to come. We still have Afghan families coming in and have differing staffing levels on various days and times, so we must operate an appointment-only system.
