Hours: 36 hours per week
Salary: £22,688.64 - £25,384.32 per annum (position on scale dependent on experience)
Fife Women's Aid (FWA) is looking for two full-time members of staff to join its existing MARAC team, working with women experiencing domestic abuse who are at high levels of risk. If you want to help make a difference in the lives of women, children and young people with experience of domestic abuse, have direct experience of providing one-to-one person-centered support, an understanding of the causes and impacts of domestic abuse along with good interpersonal skills then this may be the role for you! Applicants will have at least 2 years' experience of working in a support or advocacy role. The MARAC team is a small supportive team with a wealth of experience to share with new workers. Training will also be provided for the successful candidates. Fife Women's Aid is a feminist organisation and strives to be a supportive and empowering employer offering competitive terms and conditions. Excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively with a range of multi-agency partners is essential. Membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is a requirement for this post.
