The report builds on an earlier report from 2019. It’s an accessible report and confirms what many in the sector have been well aware of – the considerable contribution communities made in supporting Scotland’s most vulnerable citizens and in being able to provide faster and better-targeted services within local communities.
The report states that public bodies need to use this learning to develop longer-term approaches to supporting and empowering local communities.
