  • Key learnings from the pandemic, linked to the principles of community empowerment

Audit Scotland has published a report on key learnings from the pandemic, linked to the principles of community empowerment. The report builds on an earlier report from 2019. It’s an accessible report and confirms what many in the sector have been well aware of – the considerable contribution communities made in supporting Scotland’s most vulnerable citizens and in being able to provide faster and better-targeted services within local communities.

The report states that public bodies need to use this learning to develop longer-term approaches to supporting and empowering local communities.
