It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

Are you interested in reducing your energy usage or food waste in your business, organisation, or community building? Do you lack the information, motivation or financial support to put changes into practice?

At Climate Action Fife's online business breakfast event, you will learn more about the technical and financial support available to put new practices and measures into place, and how to make significant, measurable carbon savings. You will also hear more about the wider public benefits of making your business more climate friendly and why now is an ideal time to make changes. People in Fife want ambitious action on climate change. We all need to work together to reduce carbon emissions – and the business sector has a key role in making this happen.

At the event you will hear from:

    • Greener Kirkcaldy – On the benefits to your business by being more climate-friendly, and the support available to your business, community building, or third sector organisations through the Climate Action Fife project
    • Zero Waste Scotland’s Energy Efficiency Business Support Service and the Waste Reduction Business Support teams about the current support available to businesses.
    • Local case studies from Fife who are already reducing food waste and energy use, and Greener Kirkcaldy’s experience of making changes within their own community building.

There will be time to pose your question to the experts and discuss your support needs. It’s an ideal opportunity to come together to highlight examples of effective practices, and to meet others with similar aims.

This event is free and will take place on Zoom from 08:30 - 10:00 on Friday 19 November 2021Booking is required. The joining link will be sent after you book your ticket.

Climate Action Fife brings together individuals, communities, local government and businesses. The Fife-wide partnership project aims to tackle the climate emergency.  And make Fife a greener and fairer place to live.
