Child Disability Payment - stakeholder events

Social Security Scotland's Local Delivery Service will also launch across Scotland on the same date, allowing clients to receive face-to-face support when applying for our benefits.
Social Security Scotland is hosting a series of events for national and local stakeholders online via MS Teams. The events will provide information on all aspects of Child Disability Payment, including the new policies and systems, and terminal illness changes that will be in place for the national launch.
These events are for stakeholders and partners such as GP’s, clinicians, specialist nurses, hospice support staff, palliative care providers and welfare rights organisations supporting families with children to apply for Child Disability Payment under our Special Rules fast-track process or completing the new Benefits Assessment Under Special Rules in Scotland (BASRiS) form.
