    The draft Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Standards (formerly Healthcare Associated Infection Standards) are now available to download from the Healthcare Improvement Scotland's (HIS) website.

    HIS is asking for your views/feedback on all aspects of the standards, including the following:

    • standard statement
    • rationale, and
    • criteria.

    Take part in the consultation process here.

    Please note that the consultation closes on Tuesday 07 December 2021.

    At the end of the consultation period, all comments received on the draft IPC standards will be collated and used to inform the development of the final standards. 

    Final IPC standards will be published in spring 2022.
