Fife Befriending Forum
Created: 14/10/2021After a busy summer, we invite you once again to the next Fife Befriending Forum. The forum is open to all new and existing services delivering befriending provision within Fife.
The forum meetings are an opportunity for members to share learning, develop positive working relationships, and gain support. We aim to create a space for you to share your challenges and concerns. These will be considered as part of our work with providing access to future training and learning opportunities, which in turn will hopefully support you with developing your projects as we continue to recover from the pandemic.
The next forum will be held on Wednesday 10 November at 2pm. At this forum, we will be joined by Health and Social Care colleagues who will give us an insight into the new ‘Link Life Fife’ project’. This exciting new project will work with GP referred clients, offering practical support and guidance to improve mental health and general wellbeing. Not only that, but we will also be provided with an overview of the Adult Protection ‘Effective Working Together’ training that we have arranged to be delivered early December – Don’t miss out!
This is an open invitation for all befriending support services within Fife. if you were not able to attend the previous forum meetings there is still plenty of time to become involved. For further information please contact our Volunteer Development Officer, Michaela Ogilvie [email protected]
We will send a forum agenda prior to the meeting, along with details on how to join Zoom.
We look forward to seeing you all again and welcoming any new members.
