FVA lunchtime learning sessions are aimed at raising the skills and capacities of local third sector providers interested in improving or enhancing their provision in Fife.
Winter is fast approaching, and given the current context of rising energy prices we are sure this session will be of great interest to you and valuable in assisting your clients.
Cosy Kingdom is a free and impartial energy and debt advice service available to all tenants and homeowners across Fife.
At this session, Bruce McCall, Project Manager for Cosy Kingdom, will give participants a detailed overview of the fuel poverty in Fife, including:
• What is fuel poverty: The causes, effects and who is at risk.
• Fuel poverty in the current context: fuel poverty in Fife, the impact of COVID-19 pandemic and rising energy prices.
• How to identify the signs of fuel poverty in the people you work with.
• How Cosy Kingdom’s energy advice service supports people in Fife who are experiencing fuel poverty
