    Post: Youth Worker

    Hours: 16 per week

    Salary: 11 per hour on a self-employed basis

    Location: Methill

    Methill Community Children's Initiative is looking for an experienced youth worker to help lead the team and develop session plans. Based in a beautiful walled garden, you will be delivering fun and engaging after-school activities with a small team. Applicants ideally should have a keen interest in outdoor education including growing, cooking, planting, upcycling or be willing to learn about this through continued professional development. The groups often participate in games, arts, drama and crafts therefore relevant skills would be desirable. The successful candidate will lead to support staff in the planning and delivery of the clubs running from 14:30 till 18:30 Monday to Thursday and Youth Club Friday 16:00 - 19:30. The applicant should also be aware that you may/will be asked to cover other clubs with younger or older children.

    What is offered: Full induction with lots of potential to access further training and access into other roles within the organisation.  PVG Membership is an essential requirement of the job, cost met by the employer. Please e-mail [email protected] for an application form.
