FCCAN Networking Event - Climate Fresk Workshop
Created: 23/09/2021Climate Fresk is a fun, collaborative workshop using 42 cards to get to grips with climate change ahead of COP26.
Wildfires, floods, heatwaves have barely left the headlines this summer. But how does it link to climate change? As world leaders descend on Glasgow for the global climate change conference get to grips with it all in your local community as part of Climate Action Fife.
This fun, collaborative workshop is based on a 42-card game. Each card represents an element, a cause or a consequence of climate change.
In small groups, guided by your facilitator, you'll learn about the drivers, mechanisms and consequences of climate change. You'll link the different components to form a group collage, with collective intelligence getting you from one deck of cards to the next!
This event is for representatives of any Fife community group, charity, community council, development trust etc, who are taking action on the climate crisis, or who would like to get involved. Fife Communities Climate Action Network's events share learning and inspiration and can lead to new partnerships and projects.
This free in-person workshop will take place at Greener Kirkcaldy from 13:30 - 16:30 on Monday 27 September 2021. Click here for more information and to book your place.
