FVA Lunchtime Learning sessions to support third sector in Fife

FVA lunchtime learning sessions are aimed at raising the skills and capacities of local third sector providers interested in improving or enhancing their provision in Fife.

Fife Law Centre is a charity providing free legal advice and representation for the people in Fife who need it most, including assistance with unmet legal need, access to justice and representation at formal hearings such as court appearances and tribunals.

At this session, Sam Johnston, Acting Principal Solicitor for Fife Law Centre will introduce us to Fife Law Centre’s practice and tell us about:

    • The individuals Fife Law Centre supports
    • The range of legal problems that Fife Law Centre can help with, including:
      • Criminal injuries compensation
      • Eviction notices
    • Mortgage arrears and repossession
    • How to help clients who lack the financial resources to pursue a legal case
