It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.A consultation has been launched by the Scottish Government to seek public views ahead of the creation of a National Care Service.
The news follows an independent review of adult social care led by Derek Feeley, which recommended that the service should be established on an equal footing with NHS Scotland.
The consultation runs until 18 October 2021, and respondents are asked to use the government’s consultation hub, Citizen Space, to share their views.
We encourage all third sector staff and volunteers, especially those in health and social care settings, to get involved in the consultation process. It's important for you to have your say at this planning stage in order to have your say on how the Service is developed.
We are running a Health and Social Care Forum in September to discuss the plans for the National Care Service, for Forum members to share their hopes/concerns, and for us to formulate a collective response to the consultation that best exemplifies the thoughts of the sector.
The Forum will take place from 14:30 - 16:00 on Thursday 16 September 2021.
Our Forum is open to third sector staff/volunteers who work within health and social settings in Fife.
