Location: 29 hours per week: 9am-1pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent
Additional information: This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups)You will be required to assist an 100 year old woman, with Multiple System Atrophy - Atypical Parkinsons which affects voice and mobility, to live independently in her own home assisting with personal care, some companionship needs, going to the shops, as well as some general housekeeping.
I enjoy watching TV and movies, including comedies, true crime and thrillers. She enjoys playing games on her iPad, occasionally playing board games such as Scrabble, and spending time with my family. I would like someone who is outgoing, friendly personality, a positive outlook and easily approachable. It is very important to me that the person is kind. Professionally, care experience would be advantageous, but is not absolutely necessary as long as the person fits. Applicants must have a caring attitude, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. As the duties require flexibility.
