    Post: Green Space Development Manager

    Salary: 26,798 per annum, pro-rata (13,396.50)

    Hours: 18.75 hours per week

    Contract: Fixed term-part time post for two years.

    Location: Rosyth

    Rosyth Community Projects Limited is a registered charity based in Rosyth which delivers the Edible & Tasty Spaces: EATS Rosyth project.

    It operates a community hub in Rosyth as well as a community garden and centenary orchard and provides opportunities in the Rosyth community for Growing, Cooking and Sharing to increase the sense of community in the town through volunteering to reduce food waste, encourage growing and a healthier lifestyle through the provision of community growing spaced and a community hub facility serving community meals twice a week.

    The organisation is committed to enabling a diverse range of local residents, volunteers, and visitors to participate in resources to learn, share and enjoy with the aim of bringing about personal growth and a greener community. The Green Space Development Manager will assist in moving its project into the next stage of its development. Delivering activities focusing on climate change and carbon saving through food and growing, community waste reduction, and other programmes of activities to encourage Rosyth's community to 'go greener together'. You will develop and deliver programmes of events and workshops, recruit and support volunteers, deliver marketing and engagement plans, and developing a network of contacts including local community groups for the projects to work with as well as helping manage our green spaces.
