    Created: 09/06/2021
    News/Events Category: General News

Since its inception in 2012, the Fife Business Awards has given many enterprises in Fife local and national recognition for their achievements, and now the launch of the 2022 Awards gives many more the chance to experience that special feeling.

Four new categories are up for grabs this time, along with nine awards carried over from last year, including School Partnership.  And, once again, one company will win the ultimate accolade of Outstanding Business.

The Young Business Award will showcase the region’s new business stars. Employee welfare has been critical during the pandemic, and this is reflected in the new Health & Safety Award and the Wellbeing Award. And, when we have all connected virtually, so the Digital Transformation Award has never been so relevant. The other awards are for MarketingSchool PartnershipCommunity PartnershipCustomer ServiceCreativity & InnovationLarge BusinessTraining & Development; Sustainability; and Small & Medium Business

Commenting on the launch, Alan Mitchell, Chief Executive of Fife Chamber, said: “The launch of the Awards is always special for us and never more so than this year.  After a horrible year we will never forget, it is time for positive experiences we will always remember.

“With such diverse categories, everyone can enter, and you don’t have to be a member of Fife Chamber to take part.  Any business, social enterprise, charity, or public sector organisation that can meet the criteria in a category can apply.

“Organisations that are not sure how to apply can get tips and advice by joining an online In the Know workshop.  They take place on 15 June (1000) and 24th June (0900). We are grateful to the generous support of our Principal Sponsors Blackadders LLP and MHA Henderson Loggie, who along with the category sponsors, are making it possible for Fife’s business and third sector stars to shine bright again.”

Community Partnership Award Criteria and Eligibility: This Award is open to any business that can demonstrate it has had a successful partnership with a local charity or community project in Fife in the last two years. It can be a one-off project or a long-term partnership.

Winning this Award requires you to show that your contribution to the partnership or project is significant and is directly contributing to its success. You will demonstrate the ways in which your organisation is contributing and the positive outcomes that are being achieved. You will show how you plan to build on the success of the project or partnership to achieve further positive outcomes, highlighting specific measures that are planned or already underway.

This Award is not open to public sector or third sector organisations, community groups, charities, social enterprises or community interest companies. Entries will not be accepted for projects or partnerships with schools (for which there is a separate award).
