Peer2Peer development programme launches!
Created: 03/06/2021Are you a group, organisation or service interested in developing peer approaches and roles? The Scottish Recovery Network want to work with you as part of the Peer2Peer development programme.
Meaningful opportunities that support people to grow as peer supporters are important. Peer2Peer is a package of training and free resources that support people with lived experience of mental health challenges to develop their skills, knowledge and experience in peer support.
The aim of the Peer2Peer development programme is to work with organisations to increase the use of Peer2Peer across Scotland. The Network want to create a learning network of people passionate about the power of peer support!
What is involved?
The programme will involve a mixture of group learning opportunities and 1:1 tailored support that will help your organisation to:
The Scottish Recovery Network wants to work with organisations that have the capacity to deliver Peer2Peer. The development programme will take place over a negotiated number of months. Organisations need to be able to commit to the whole process. As part of the programme, the Network will evaluate the process.
