It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.Booking is now open for Shared Care Scotland's next Inspiring Breaks Toolkit Training programme which will get underway with an introductory webinar taking place on 9 June.
The Inspiring Breaks Toolkit brings together a range of resources built around a four-step process that puts the carer at the heart, establishes a shared sense of purpose between carers and support staff, and works towards achieving the best possible short breaks outcomes. This webinar is the first part of an online training programme to help carer support staff get the best from the toolkit. The toolkit and training have been developed in partnership with carer support staff and reflects on and builds upon existing best practice.
The webinar is followed by four online modules which can be worked through at your own pace and a final webinar. Those joining the training programme will also be able to benefit from peer support throughout the modules through an online platform where they will be encouraged to reflect on their own practice and hear the experiences of others.The webinar will take place from 10:00 - 11:15 on Wednesday 09 June 2021.
